DUTIES OF CLUB OFFICERS

President

Plan the agenda for each meeting in consultation with Mr. Hoffman. A tentative meeting agenda should be submitted to Mr. Hoffman well in advance of each meeting so that it can be posted on the website. Preside over each meeting using Robert's Rules of Order.

Vice-President

Serve as chief advisor to the president. Attend meetings and be prepared to take over the president's duties in the event of his or her absence.

Treasurer

Keep accurate records of income and expenses. Fill out deposit slips and checks, with assistance from Mr. Hoffman. Attend meetings and report on the status of the club's activity account.

Recording Secretary

Attend meetings and take minutes to keep a written record of attendance, motions made, and votes taken. Submit minutes to Mr. Hoffman in a timely fashion so they can be published on the club's website.

Corresponding Secretary

Handle correspondence with outside individuals and organizations. This would include writing thank-you letters to sponsors and guest speakers. It would also include writing invitations to sponsors and others who are invited to attend club events.
